And the couple of people I've spoken with since sending out the email telling you all about this blog have been so encouraging and confident that this little project of mine matters and that it's going to be worth reading. I can't tell you how relieved that makes me feel since I've definitely had my doubts about why anyone would even care to read a blog that I write. So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
And, P.S., way to play your role well! I asked you to participate as my audience partly to keep me honest and hold me accountable to writing on a regular basis, and you rose to the occasion! Now it's up to me to hold up my end of the bargain. So, on to my first "pearl". I've decided that's what I'm calling my stories, since I have the whole oyster and harvesting pearls theme.
And it hit me after the fact that those important life moments are really where we gain our wisdom. You see where I'm going with this, but I'm gonna spell it out "just in cases" (If you're not familiar with that phrase, watch Love Actually and pay attention to the story of the Portuguese woman and the British man. So cute!) . . .
I'm documenting PEARLS OF WISDOM from my own life! I didn't even think of that in advance, it just worked! How's that for consistent branding? Ah, my Marketing professors would be so proud. Except for my lack of brevity. So, without further ado, I'm off to write my first pearl! Thanks again, everyone, I love you all!
